Food, food, Christmas!

Christmas was planned to be spent at Aaron’s loft. His large apartment with huge windows just matched the snowy shining atmosphere. Jemma and Max, two siblings, decided to mess with food as they expected a lot of people. In fact, it was a team effort that included both Emma and James and Aaron and many others.

Firstly, Max used the help of a couple of his friends, who were running around the loft kitchen all day and cooking. Mushrooms and onions with carrots were fried in pans, two cakes with apples and pears in blueberry jam were baked in the oven, and the meat was slowly thawed in the refrigerator. Due to the cooking, all the countertops were covered in flour and leftover vegetables.

Secondly, Aaron himself took over the dessert and appetizer. He called several restaurants and cafes in order to find the most delicious dishes. All this should then have been brought in the next couple of hours. The menu included curd rolls and light salads with crab and rosemary.

On top of all this bullshit, James got in with his crazy ideas. Just as usual. It was snowing on the streets without stopping, almost a blizzard, but this did not stop the boy from arranging a grill session on the loft spacious balcony. His sister Emma was madly afraid that he would ruin the grill and most likely fry his fingers, but when did that stop him? After that, they were guaranteed to have a dozen funny videos of James sprinkling wood and ashes on the balcony, mixed with veal and lamb.

Actually, it was a great Christmas back then.
